If you're interested in learning how to be a florist and how to be a sustainable florist, but need financial assistance, we encourage you to apply. All people are invited to apply. BIPOC, Women, LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized people and communities strongly encouraged to apply
There are two scholarship options available every year:
#1 The Partial G&G Flower School Scholarship: 10 attendees will receive 50% off the fee of a 2 day session. Note, this does not include the cost for additional food, transportation to and from the workshop or lodging. This scholarship can be used for the Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 schedule. Sessions include: Personals, Vase Arrangements, Installs and The Flower Biz.
#2 The Full G&G Flower School Scholarship: 2 Attendees will receive 100% off the fees for a 2 day session. Note, this does not include the cost for additional food, transportation to or from the workshop or lodging. This scholarship can be used for the Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 schedule. Sessions include: Personals, Vase Arrangements, Installs and The Flower Biz.
To apply please submit the following to shop@gorgeousandgreen.com:
- Your Name, IG handle if available, Email and Mailing Address
- The Scholarship to which you are applying
- A short 1/2 page bio about you and your relationship/experience with flowers/flower design
- A short 1/2 page essay that tells us how you plan to use your new sustainable floral design knowledge.
- If you are a floral designer or have some floral design experience, please submit 3-5 photos of your past work.
Scholarships will be awarded on August 20th 2023 for the Fall Session and December 20th 2023 (for the Spring Session)
